This disk of mine really was put together rather “makeshiftly.” Using the MSDOS710a boot disk as a base, I pulled out tools from several boot disks such as the moderator’s super boot disk, network boot disk, Dreamlike Chinese boot disk, and others, then made one myself from what I thought was suitable. The result is fairly good. But while writing autoexec and config I ran into a lot of things I didn’t understand, so later some problems came up when running it, mainly memory management. I couldn’t fit it all, continuing here.
For example, after I run NDD and then run scandisk a few more times, it reports that there is not enough memory. I know nothing at all about how to use EMM386. What does DEVICE=EMM386.EXE NOEMS X=D100 mean? Also, what does %RAMDRIVE% mean? I have quite a lot of questions, so I uploaded these two files and ask an expert to help me take a look. Thank you!!

First download a Chinese doshelp.
This forum has it.
EMM386 really has too many parameters,
but they are all in the help.
First use the forum search function and look for it.
You will definitely be able to find it.
%RAMDRIVE% refers to the RAM disk drive letter.
scandisk reporting insufficient memory is because your emm386 was not loaded correctly.
Use lh to load application programs
in AUTOEXEC.BAT.
Application programs
and in config use devicehigh=
to load drivers, that will do!

no, scandisk reporting insufficient memory is because some other program did not completely exit from memory....

According to the materials I have, in DEVICE=EMM386.EXE NOEMS X=D100, X=D100 refers to the occupied address of UMB memory, and it can be changed. As for %ramdrive%, it refers to a virtual disk.
