BLACKOUT isn't very easy to use. If you want to make a startup screen, I recommend using MS-DOS 7.x.

I don't use MS-DOS because I want my boot disk to be able to boot under "Logic Lock".

I want to learn everything...
Adding a logo to a utility disk may not be of much use, but since there's a question, I want to learn it.
That's me.

Ha.
But for a beginner, this is just asking for trouble...

Even if you want to do it, it still wouldn't be a real logo,,, because romdos doesn't have msdos files... so it can't boot and load like msdos......
If you really want to do it. Refer to the method for making the startup screen of a bootable CD......

You could use SysLinux to make a startup screen when booting from a floppy.

I got it working with blackout. But the screen is just a bit small.
It must be 320x200 in size, with 256 colours.
