Wengier! Because I haven't been able to log into the "Dandiao Forum" all afternoon today (the same thing happened yesterday afternoon too), I'm asking you here!
I loaded “OHCI.EXEUHCI.EXE” in "AUTOEXEC.BAT" according to the modification method you provided on the "Dandiao Forum", but as soon as it gets to loading “UHCI.EXE” the system hangs. The screen shows the following message: "UHCI USB CONTROLLER INITIALIZED", then the cursor just blinks underneath. Pressing any key does nothing; I can only press "RESET" on the case. How can this be solved? Do I also need to modify some other files??? And if it loads successfully, will there be insufficient memory causing some programs not to run??? ========================================== AUTOEXEC.BAT ==================================================== @ECHO OFF PROMPT $P$G PATH A:\;C:\ set temp=c:\ set tmp=c:\ SET EXPAND=YES SET DIRCMD=/O:N set LglDrv=27 * 26 Z 25 Y 24 X 23 W 22 V 21 U 20 T 19 S 18 R 17 Q 16 P 15 set LglDrv=%LglDrv% O 14 N 13 M 12 L 11 K 10 J 9 I 8 H 7 G 6 F 5 E 4 D 3 C call setramd.bat %LglDrv% path=C:\;%RAMD%:\;%RAMD%:\BAT;%CDROM%:\;%CDROM%:\UCDOS;%CDROM%:\BOOT; copy get.exe %RAMD%:\ > NUL copy attrib.exe %RAMD%:\ > NUL copy command.com %RAMD%:\ > NUL copy edit.com %RAMD%:\ > NUL copy format.com %RAMD%:\ > NUL copy fdisk.exe %RAMD%:\ > NUL copy deltree.com %RAMD%:\ > NUL copy restart.com %RAMD%:\ > NUL copy ramexec.bat %RAMD%:\ > NUL copy xxcopy.exe %RAMD%:\ > NUL rem copy extract.exe %RAMD%:\ > NUL set comspec=%RAMD%:\command.com LH MSCDEX.EXE /D:MSCD000 /L:%CDROM% LH SMARTDRV.EXE 4096 LH DOSKEY.COM > NUL LH OHCI.EXE >NUL LH UHCI.EXE >NUL LH CTMOUSE.EXE > NUL Set LglDrv= MD %RAMD%:\TEMP rem extract /y /e /l %RAMD%: ebd.cab > NUL XXCOPY /E /H %CDROM%:\BOOT\EBD %RAMD%:\ > NUL %RAMD%: ramexec.bat ============================================ |

1. Which file, “OHCI.EXE and UHCI.EXE,” supports a usb mouse? Which file supports a usb keyboard?
2. If I want to load a startup picture (LOGO) before the boot menu appears, do I just save the finished picture as “LOGO.SYS” and then copy it to the root directory? Or—? Please advise!!!! |

About LOGO.SYS, that's right.
OHCI.EXE and UHCI.EXE are both drivers for USB keyboards and USB mice, but please don't load them both at the same time. You should load only one of them according to the actual situation. Note: I also can't get into Dandiao right now. |
