China DOS Union

I used USBoot to create a USB bootable disk, and my motherboard should support USB booting.
I also set boot from USB-zip, but it failed to boot~~!
I saw there are these 3 files in my USB flash drive: COMMAND.COM, IO.SYS, MSDOS.SYS.
Hope to get some advice.

It seems that besides the motherboard support, USB flash drives also are divided into whether they support self-booting.

There are experts who know, please give some guidance: which brand of USB flash drives have relatively good boot compatibility

Try FLASHBOOT. The effect I tried is far stronger than USBOOT. The success rate of the former (taking about five USB drives and five computers with different motherboards around me as the statistical scope) is almost 100%!

You can try using the original three files in MSDOS.

I also used USBBOOT to make a bootable disk. It starts fine on my machine, but it doesn't work on someone else's machine. I used ZIP mode, and the motherboard can also be set to usb-zip boot, but it ended up booting into Windows... Depressed, I originally wanted to show off to others....

Currently, there are four sets of software for making USB flash drive boot disks, namely USBOOT, HPUSBFW, FLASHBOOT, and UFORMAT;

There are three common series of boot files, WIN98 boot disk, DOS71 standard version, and DOS71 revised version (initiated by DOS Home);

There are three startup methods, USB-FDD, USB-ZIP, and USB-HDD;

Friends who are interested can go and try it on several more machines. Most USB flash drives can be booted;

My feeling: HPUSBFW is more suitable for USB-HDD boot, UFORMAT is suitable for USB-ZIP boot (I don't know if it is a bug, when making it, you need to select USB-FDD format), and the most suitable one is definitely FLASHBOOT. As for the famous USBOOT, at least it is incompatible with the INTEL848 motherboard, so I put it in the fourth place, who made me use 848...
