When executing DISKGEN under DOS, it prompts a sector 0 error. How to recover with this software? Please help, experts.

Use NDD for repair, it has good compatibility and no errors... DiskGen is not powerful enough in this regard.

I use ndd2002 prompt is unable to complete, must be low-level formatted. Diskgen can find the hard disk capacity, but creating DOS partitions prompts 0 cylinder 0 track 1 sector error (can't see when viewing sectors), unable to update the partition table. Do I have to find the same hard disk partition table backup as some articles say?
Also, where can I download Norton2003? I can't find it on several websites. What are the differences between NDD2003 and NDD2002? Thanks! |

If, if ndd2002 doesn't work, ndd2003 may not necessarily work either. Have you checked the sectors with diskedit? I'm afraid manual editing is needed......

kv3000, the DOS version has a hard disk repair function, which is very easy to use. Give it a try......

The hard disk is not recognized under DOS. FDISK is useless, and KV3000 can't find the disk either.
