He passed through the state of Chu........... towering indeed, before him stood a high mountain..........

So when he went to Chu he arrived at Guqintai?

It was just the season when orioles flew and the grass grew, a scene of peach blossoms and green willows... Boya, enchanted by the scenery, had the boatman stop the boat. He took out a civil-military seven-string qin called Jiaowei......... Right then he sat at the bow, lit a burner of longyan incense, and grandly played a tune......... feeling very pleased inside.... At this moment...... he suddenly heard from the shore....

Hehe...... this happened during the Warring States period.... several hundred years after the Shang and Zhou....

There was a woodcutter, who cried out: Good qin. Boya was greatly startled on hearing this—could it be that in these wild mountains there was actually someone who understood qin music??
So he called to the boatman and had that woodcutter brought over.... He asked: You common fellow, you understand the qin too???
The woodcutter laughed loudly.... and said: Hearing your qin, sir, you ought not to be such an arrogant man....
Boya said nothing, turned around and sat down, and played another tune..... The woodcutter knew he was being tested, so he said:
Towering indeed...... high mountains..... meaning that Boya's tune was about high mountains..... When Boya heard this,
the music suddenly changed............ and the woodcutter said again: Vast indeed............ flowing water....
........... this is the story sung through the ages --- High Mountains and Flowing Water Meet a True Friend......
This mound where Ziqi and Boya met is what later generations called Guqintai............
