Early四通 machines are WPS files, DOS WPS text. If there is no encryption, it should be plain text later

This is a method to solve the problem of reading files in the Sitoo typewriter format found for you online: First, copy the.BAK file as a.WPS file, and then enter the following operations~:) Please make a backup of the original file before operation~:) Recently, when we used the DOS version of WPS in the student computer room, we discovered a useful use of it - converting files in the Sitoo typewriter format to text files. There are still some places using the Sitoo typewriter to handle Chinese characters, but the files in the Sitoo format are not recognized by WPS2000/Office. However, at this time, we can run UCDOS and WPS under DOS, press F to enter the file service function, select the "Conversion from Sitoo to text file" function, enter the source file name and the target file name, and realize the conversion from Sitoo format to text format. Then open it in WPS2000/Office and everything will be OK!

What software are you going to use to open the file? If it can't be opened on the Sitong typewriter, you can try changing .bak to no extension; If it's on the DOS version of WPS, you can enter the file format conversion function before editing, and convert the file to WPS format to open it.
