The boot disk I downloaded from the website can boot now. The previous Win98 boot disk used to stop at the self-test stage. Now the rdos and Super MSDOS I downloaded can both boot to the c:\ prompt. At least I can tell it probably isn't a motherboard problem, which is good~
But my hard drive still has problems. I originally had 4 partitions, cdef, but after booting only c and d are left. And when I do any operation under c:\ (for example dir, format, etc.) it shows:
cdr101:not ready reading drive c
Abort ,retry,fail ?
I roughly understand what it means, it seems like it can't find drive c. What could be the reason for this? What should I do?? Many thanks to all you experts for helping me!!!
