Extract the setup.cfg file in the "\sources\inf\" directory from the Windows Vista RC1 installation disc. Open it with Notepad. The last line in the [DefaultImageSelection] section: Value=YVT36-YVCP2-J97GQ-7T22R-RWV8P is the installation key for testing! This was seen in Computer Enthusiast Issue 19, and it was verified from the RC1 I downloaded. The above key was found in the DVD disc I downloaded!

I downloaded Windows Vista RC2 Build 5744 x86 CN/EN and found that the installation key is also in the same location!
