I use a Traditional Chinese system. In Taiwan, under DOS it was almost entirely ETen's domain, but now if you want to add a Traditional Chinese system onto a boot disk, it seems almost impossible (maybe some people would say this is not a wise thing to do). I just want to ask: since there are small Chinese character support systems like CCDOS or Tianhui, is it possible to modify the input method and dictionary and turn one into a Traditional Chinese system....

This is just a question from me. Because I don't know much about input methods and Chinese character support systems, I hope all you senior experts won't laugh at me......

I had only just made this post when I noticed someone had already posted a similar thread before, but that was back in 2003. I figure someone must be looking for this kind of thing, so I wonder whether some kind expert could provide it again!

Also, if you simply want the Traditional Chinese ETen Chinese character support system, please go to my Blog!

Also, does the Union's upload/download system often change location......? I uploaded some things before, and now when I try to find them, I can't get back to the old link......??

CCDOS 97 can be used on a Traditional Chinese system (Ctrl+F8), pretty good, it's the best DOS system.

It's best to use CCDOS, just replace the hzk16 in it with a Traditional Chinese one and it'll be OK.

I seem to remember there was a Traditional Chinese version of PDOS,
V6.22, with pretty good compatibility (meaning running DOS programs; I haven't tried anything else).
It was on CD, but I don't know which corner I put it in anymore. :o

Wouldn't the one included with Traditional Chinese edition 98 be Traditional Chinese?

pdos are all Simplified Chinese. As for the one in cwin98, I don't know whether it would be called cdos.

I seem to remember cwin9x didn't include cdos or anything like that. But both UCDOS and CCDOS97 have Traditional Chinese fonts, and using them is basically no different from the Simplified Chinese fonts.
