My laptop has no optical drive, and the XP system has crashed. I used RAR to split the XP disc image file into 7 parts and copied them to the D drive of the computer using a USB flash drive. But I don't know how to merge the files and extract them. I urgently beg for the guidance of all the experts. Little brother is grateful!

If you previously had WinRAR installed on your system, try to enter DOS and run UNRAR.EXE under C:\Program Files\WinRAR. I'm not sure if this idea of a newbie like me is feasible.

RAR can already be used in DOS. You can find it by checking its help file.

That depends on what version of RAR you used for compression. If it's compressed with a high - version, it may not be able to be extracted with a low - version.
