Nice stuff, but it seems that under the Windows environment, just decompressing is enough, and WinRAR supports gzip decompression, heh

Well, the key is to use it to compress the .img so that grub can read the compressed .img, while the .gz converted by winrar won't work. The built-in decompression module of grub should also be gzip.
