This software is a tool that integrates extraction, Chinese localization, building, and more into one, for permanently Chinese-localizing the prompt information in English software (including help information, multi-level menu prompt information, dialog box information, error information, and other prompt information).

　　Software features:

　　1. Installation:

　　After downloading you will get a ZIP archive. After extracting it, run Setup.exe, and you can see the following picture:

　　2. Usage example:

　　Below, taking the Chinese localization of the PS emulator BLEEM as an example, I will explain how to use this software to Chinese-localize software. Start the software, and the following interface appears:

　　Click Browse to select the software you want to Chinese-localize, then confirm, and the following extraction progress bar appears, with detailed percentage prompts. The extraction process will take a relatively long time, and you can use this time to see what parts of the software need to be Chinese-localized.

At this point you can begin Chinese-localizing. For example, if you want to Chinese-localize the setting menu, then you need to search for the word setting in the extracted information. As shown below, the word & setting has been found:

　　Then in the localization line below, enter “设置”. It is best to select “centered” below, otherwise the localized text will be shifted to one side. Then just press Enter. After the modification is finished, close this window. At this time it will prompt you whether to save the changes made; click “Yes” to save them. Back at the main interface of the software, click “Build Chinese-localized software”, and after going through the prompts you can complete the localization of that software.

　　3. Explanations of the above points:

　　(1) The memcard (memory card) field was not Chinese-localized because automatic information extraction was used, and the software was unable to extract that information. Generally speaking, using semi-automatic extraction can extract the most information. At the interface where you select the software to be Chinese-localized, you can choose semi-automatic, automatic, or extraction as required;

　　(2) The above example only explains how to use it. In fact, Chinese-localizing menus is not really necessary (they are only a few words, and you can understand them by checking a dictionary). The biggest use of this software is to Chinese-localize the prompt information when using software (including help information, multi-level menu prompt information, dialog box information, error information, and other prompt information).

　　(3) The work can be exited midway, and when you enter again you can continue doing it;

　　(4) After the localization work is finished, the Chinese-localized software uses the original English software name, and the original English software name is given the extension “.ENG” as a backup. If localization fails, you can still rename it back to restore it.
