Nowadays, many hard drives are SATA, and originally they were IDE. Reading and writing to the hard drive can be done through int13. Currently, using int13 can perform reading and writing for both SATA and IDE hard drives. This test is completed. But when using IO to read and write to the hard drive, it's okay with IDE, and port reading and writing using 1f0 can be done. However, when using SATA, it cannot be written successfully. So I think the parameters are incorrect. Friends who know can give pointers. Thank you.

The SATA IDE mode still maps to the 1F0/170 ports, and this is not a big problem. For the SATA AHCI mode, you may need to obtain the allocated I/O port base address from PCICFG, and then send ATA commands to the obtained I/O ports to see if there is a hard disk connected above.

I have now managed to read out the Ahci base address, but what should I do next to operate the ATA command? Can I use the memory reading function of WINIO? Also, I can't find the data register in the port control register in the AHCI spec. How do I read the data? Please help, experts. Thanks a lot.
