Is there a boot disk that can drive a PCMCIA hard drive? I need to repair a PCMCIA hard drive under DOS.

Please, experts, give me some advice: under the command prompt in WINDOWS XP, is it possible to repair a PCMCIA hard drive, or low-level format the hard drive? My PCMCIA hard drive can be read from and written to, but it can no longer boot.
