I want to reinstall the system. I downloaded an XP ISO file online. My hard drive has 4 partitions all in NTFS format.
I downloaded many boot disks, but none can recognize the hard drive analysis. So depressed... May I ask all the experts, how can I reinstall the system from the hard drive? The ISO file is on drive E... Emergency!... Any method is okay, as long as I can reinstall. I don't have a CD. Thank you! Everyone. |

Then you can install the system after converting the C drive to FAT32!

How to convert it? After conversion, put the ISO in the C drive?

What a pain! How can you treat others like that! Boot with DOS and then mount NTFS for DOS!! Then all your files under DOS can be used! First, use a virtual drive to mount your ISO file! Then you can install it!

Find a computer, burn that XP ISO file onto an installation CD, and then you can directly boot from the CD for installation. This is the most formal installation method.

Unzip with RAR under Windows. Run winnt32 in the I386 directory to install directly. It must be installable, but the C drive cannot be formatted.

Go to the I386 under the XP installation path and run winnt32 /cmdcons, then restart the system to the console to install.
Alternatively, you can also install the Deep Mountain Red Leaf's PE to the local hard drive using a virtual CD-ROM. [ Last edited by xuantian on 2006-8-30 at 17:13 ] |

This simply doesn't work. Although NTFS is supported under DOS, WINNT.EXE doesn't support it!
