This question has puzzled me for a long time. What are the differences between them.. Can the brothers who know explain it in detail? I have been looking for a long time and haven't found it. The "method of connecting to the Internet under DOS" from the boss also doesn't have specific instructions. And what about the related network protocols? How are they configured?

Moderators aren't willing to come out and say something either? So disappointed.... So many days, no one cares.

Say something self-perceived. There is no unified driver for network cards under DOS. Some software uses PACKET - style drivers, and some uses NDIS2 drivers. PACKET - style drivers are relatively simple, generally being executable files that can be directly run to be driven. NDIS drivers are generally.DOS files, and it is more troublesome to drive them. Usually, they need to be loaded in CONFIG.SYS or loaded by the application software itself. But NDIS - style drivers should be a more advanced driver method. It seems that the network card drivers used in WINDOWS are also NDIS - style. It seems that NDIS drivers include NDIS1, NDIS2, NDIS3...
