On the virtual machine. According to an online article "Installing the system from the hard disk without a CD-ROM or floppy drive", I installed a system on the virtual machine. The result is as shown in the picture:

Of course, I can use the CD-ROM to format the C drive. But if I do that, I might as well just install it directly with the CD-ROM. Why go through all the trouble?

Do you have any solutions?

No floppy drive or CD-ROM. Installed矮人DOS. If I format the C drive, then矮人DOS is useless, right? If I don't format it, can I do a clean install?

Heh, you might have misunderstood the meaning. "No CD drive" means that in the VM, you can directly mount the ISO file to boot, so this is naturally installing the system without a CD drive or floppy drive.

This I know. The problem is that you need a universal GHO file on your system. I'm really worried about my system not being able to enter DOS + ghost.

A simple matter, solved with a USB flash drive. As long as the hard disk (USB flash drive) has the things it should have.

I'm really worried because my system can't boot into DOS + ghost.

GHO is only useful for this. If you clear the MBR (or low-level format), you still need GRUB to clean up the GHOST system garbage.

1. Reinstalling definitely requires formatting C:\;
2. You can choose to keep the original system files when installing the system~ But there will be a dual system on C:\
