Mind Map * Pearl River Delta Lifestyle
I still remember the night after the college entrance examination, June 10th. I took out the long-unused radio and accidentally tuned to FM974. For the first time, I entered "Mind Map * Pearl River Delta Lifestyle" and became a "villager" of Sir Chen.
From Monday to Friday at 10:30 PM, a song "Waiting for you" would call the "villagers" to sit down, calm down, and start a one-and-a-half-hour "Mind Map" journey... I would lie on the balcony, looking at the night sky and listening, regardless of the group of female animals (mosquitoes) dancing around and kissing me from time to time. As I listened, the night grew quiet, the air grew cool, and the traffic and pedestrians downstairs became fewer. But some cars were going faster, maybe because it was late and there were fewer people, maybe because they were tired and missed home, maybe because tonight's "Mind Map" was about to end... At 00:00, Sir Chen would definitely summarize the day's feelings and end with the fixed blessing every night - "Good night, sweet dreams" - and the villagers would go to sleep.
That was how it was from that night until I went to study in Guangzhou.
As soon as it was 10:30, I would brush my teeth, hang the mosquito net, and get into bed. My roommate always said that a young person shouldn't go to bed so early, but the reason was right here.
I thought that going to Guangzhou would make me closer to the radio station, and the signal should be stronger and clearer. But unfortunately, in the newly built dormitory on the second floor (220222), the signal was just passable, making me toss and turn every night. Even more frustrating, half a year later, when I moved to the "new" dormitory (220110) in the old building, on the first floor, there was completely no signal. Every night I would adjust the frequency frantically, but still got nothing. I got so angry that I had no strength, and as soon as I lay in bed, I would chat with Zhou Gong.
Soon after, Sir Chen left FM974 and went to GZTV to do "News Daily Talk, Chat Every Day"; but "Mind Map" didn't end because of that, hosted by Qinglang. But the taste was completely gone. When I listened, I couldn't calm down anymore, so I stopped listening! Of course, the "villagers" also left one after another. Some changed channels and left; some followed to GZTV...
Now I have sorted out the things I wrote down during the years of continuing to listen.
