After booting up, Windows 2000 suddenly wouldn't start. It reported that there was a problem with the config file. I don't understand how a problem with this file could also affect Win2000. After restoring with GHOST, I found that several extended partitions could no longer be accessed. As soon as I tried to access them, it asked to format them, so I had no choice but to go into DOS, where I found they could be accessed. Why is that? Then I used scandisk to check, and it actually said the FAT was damaged. Part of it was recovered, but the filenames were all completely messed up. What a headache. How should this be fixed?
