I don't know why, but when I go online with msclient in DOS real mode,
I still can't access neighboring computers.
I'm on the school's LAN, and my classmates' machines have already been set to shared; there are both win2k and win98 systems.
I'm in DOS real mode. I already added the TCP/IP protocol, and the gateway, IP, and DNS have all been set correctly.
But I still can't access nearby shared resources, and those shared resources are in the same workgroup as mine.
After I use the net use command, it shows a message saying it can't connect, even though the other machine is on.
The usage of the bet use command is also correct; if I use the same bet use command
in a DOS window under win98, I can map some of the same shared resources.
Please help me.
