China DOS Union

I used the Microsoft TCPIP SDK to write a remote file transfer program, where the lower - level DOS communicates with the upper - level computer to transfer data. But when executing the program, such an error always occurs: socket() call failed errno = 123.

Personally, it seems that there is no sockets.exe socket driver loaded under DOS, so I copied socket.exe into DOS again and loaded SOCKETS.EXE in AUTOEXEC.BAT. But another problem occurred.
When restarting the DOS system, the system prompts: sockets0111: error accessing nemm.dos. SOCKETS 2.1 not loaded.

Why is this? Is the network card driver wrong? Or something else? Oh~
