China DOS Union

There are many Chinese character systems under DOS. The more famous ones include UCDOS, CCDOS97, SPDOS, CCBIOS (213), TWAY, XZL, GHOS, HW, AW97, etc. Which ones have you used? Feel free to talk about and comment on them. You can choose multiple options.

It feels like UC, CC, TW. These three each have their own strong points, really making it hard to choose. But, personally, I have a greater preference for UC...

I've used all the ones above, and there are some others not listed above, like Yitian, Guoqiao, Zhenhan, etc.

And I think CCCDOS is the most useful, followed by TWAY, then UCDOS

I don't have those Chinese character systems except UCDOS, TW, XZL, PDOS. Who knows where to download them!

I have used both the simplified and traditional Chinese versions of Yitian. I have also come into contact with Chaoxiang, Qimingxing, Wangma, Huizhilong, Nanbatian, Dongle, CCDOS4, etc.

CCDOS97 is technically the best, but I don't think it looks very good. However, you can use WPS under UCDOS, and there are relevant instruction files. UCDOS comes with many software, but it's encrypted, so it's not particularly easy to use. But I like its UCSHELL, which is pretty good. In short, it's comprehensive. Tianhui is also good, small and compact, and it also has word processing software. But actually, I like Huizhilong and Longzhimeng. Technically, they are not as good as the previous ones, but the technologies they claim to support, like direct screen writing, zero memory, etc., they also support. The interface is more comfortable and looks better than any Chinese character system. The software is not as rich as UCDOS.
