I made it with winzip3.0, but it seems that EXTRACT.EXE can't extract, what should I do???

CAB files can be created and extracted using the MAKECAB and EXTRACT commands respectively. The /? option can be used to view command-line help.

In addition, if you want to compress CAB files under WINDOW, there is a best tool which is cab manager. If you need this tool, please contact me. MY EMAIL: yiyesong@sina.com. But as for promoting DOS, I advocate you use MAKECAB as WENGIE said.

There are CAB making tools in my FTP. In mysoft\disk\cab. Both of the above - mentioned ones are available.

Go use it first and then ask, okay?
Generally, for DOS - based software, if you don't know how to use, type /? or /h after the file name of the software to be executed to get help. Generally, for Windows - based software, you can use F1 to get help. And, in Windows, if you don't know, just click those menus and try, you can understand. |

WinAce can definitely be used. My instant Chinese localization bootable disk is the cab file made with it. But you can't edit the files in the compressed package.

It needs to be used in conjunction with Microsoft's makecab.exe, maybe like winarj, adding a win shell to the arj program under DOS.
