I use djgpp + allegro for interface development under FreeDOS, but find that the made system cannot recognize long Chinese file names. Then what development tools can be used under FreeDOS to recognize long Chinese file names (Chinese file names with more than four characters)

You can first test opening Chinese long filenames under other DOS systems (such as MS-DOS 7.1) to determine whether it is a FreeDOS issue or a compiler issue.

In FreeDOS, long English filenames can be opened, but long Chinese filenames cannot!

I just tried it under MS-DOS 7.1, and there's no problem opening both Chinese and English long filenames, everything is normal. If it doesn't work under FreeDOS, then it's a bug in FreeDOS.
