I am currently installing a COMPAQ N800V NOTEBOOK, WIN2000 ENGLISH VERSION. But during the installation process I found that *.cl_ files (23 of them) cannot be copied, so I suspect it is a CD-ROM driver problem and want to replace the CD-ROM driver. How do I make a DOS boot CD with CD-ROM drivers?

What's the problem with that? All boot floppies released on this forum come with CD-ROM drivers. If you use one of them as the boot Img file for a CD, wouldn't that do it?

As for the DOS boot disks we make on this forum, as long as they are not specifically marked "this boot disk does not support CD-ROM drives", then they do support CD-ROM drives. It's only a question of whether they support the less common SCSI and USB CD-ROM drives. For example, the MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk I made supports IDE/SCSI/USB CD-ROM drives all of them.
