NC is a management tool as famous as PCTOOLS. This version of NORTON COMMAND is a bit old, but it is very small; after being compressed with UPX it is under 60K. It has complete file and directory management, file editing, DOSSHELL, etc. There are absolutely no problems using it with FAT32, CD-ROM drives, NOVELL, and so on, and its adaptability is strong.
Its shortcoming is that it does not support long filenames, and in one folder it can only manage a little over 600 files at the same time. Open attachment link expired (admin note) |

Could you Chinese-localize Norton Commander 5.5? It supports long filenames.

This is the one I compressed, only 52k. I use it in my boot disk, so tools like edit were removed, but before it was the English version; just change the extension to exe. |

Good! It is on par with VC, and it has been Chinese-localized.
Not sure why the mouse support is not very good......？ |
