As the title says, I don't know where I can download these early compilation tools now.
MICROSOFT C 6.0 VISUAL C 1.0 SYMANTEC C BORLAND C These are very early ones, from the same era as TC. I don't know where to find them... PS: I don't know if MICROSOFT C has added support for C++. I think as long as it has added support for C++, it is basically considered a C++ compiler.. Generally, C/C++ compilers seem to only support the original C language... (that's how I feel) Finding these 16-bit era pure C compilers will be more helpful to me.. Please help, experts.. |

"General C/C++ compilers only support the C language" What does this mean?

This is what is said in the C language reference manual. The "C subset" supported by C++ compilers should be the part that is jointly supported by the standard C language and the standard C++ language. It does not include all the features of the standard C language.

Upstairs, the MSVC10.zip inside is Visual C++ 1.0, which must run on platforms above Windows 3.x

No, what about above WIN 2000?
The last version of the VISUAL C series that supports compiling 16-bit programs. I don't know which version of VISUAL C it is. |
