Sometimes the interface just dies before it's confirmed.. Sometimes it freezes when it needs to be confirmed after saving is complete...
Sometimes Ghost freezes halfway through saving....
It's very strange....

I don't know the reason... I've used versions like Ghost 8.0, 2003, 6.... All of these have this phenomenon...

Has everyone encountered this situation before.....

The system has one hard drive with 2 NTFS partitions.... Of course, when using 6, there was an additional hard drive with a FAT32 partition...
One optical drive.. but the optical drive is connected as slave instead of master..

Is the hard drive or partition confirmed to be okay?

The hard drive is fine...

For partitioning, do you mean the source partition or the destination partition? They should all be fine... Because the destination partition was formatted before the imaging. The system of the source partition was reinstalled... When installing, I chose to reformat... Of course, it's not a low-level format...

There's something I find strange...
I have an XP installation disc... When using a BenQ burner to read the disc for installation, it always reports an error at a certain point... But later, I changed to a Sony CD drive and it worked without any problem...
But I believe my BenQ burner is fine. It doesn't have similar problems when reading any other disc. The only thing is it was connected as slave. After changing the BenQ to master, it's okay...

I also burned Ghost onto a CD, and no problems occurred.

The burner should preferably be connected with a separate IDE cable, not connected to the same cable as the hard drive! And it's best to set it as master, otherwise problems may occur!
I have two burners and one hard drive, and I haven't had any problems!
