I'm using Ethernet. Why is it that when I set the IP to 192.168.0.158, the Local Area Connection icon appears in the lower right corner of the desktop, but when I set the IP to 192.168.2.158 or 192.168.3.158, the Local Area Connection icon doesn't show up?

There should be an option in the connection properties to show the icon, right?
