May I ask which version of DOS you are using? (I guess it might be 7.10)

It's best to list it again with the /A parameter.

It's DOS 7.1. The /A parameter has already been added.

You have already added the /A parameter? Why can't I see "Available space in High Memory Area"?

Also, why is your conventional memory only 652288? Is it the reason Fujianabc said?

This is the reason for QEMM8...

Oh`````````Right..........
The above IO.SYS file was SYS'd from the webmaster's "Super Universal MS-DOS 7.10 Boot Disk".
Maybe that's the reason......................

This is okay (I use that one too). I'm afraid it's still the reason of QEMM.

I have used the QEMM suite for a period of time, and later I found it not good, so I switched to dosmax + hiram + umbpci, and the effect is first-class! There is a very large amount of conventional memory, and there is no longer the "not enough conventional memory" prompt, but now it reports "not enough umb, haha!

Which reason do you mean? The HMA I mentioned or the total conventional memory number.

What's wrong with it? Please give examples.

What's your current Free Conventional Memory size?

I also have concerns about "not enough umb" now, haha. Of course, the maximum UMA is related to each person's machine hardware configuration.

I think this post is better transferred to "Teaching Room" because it doesn't contain or request any download content. Please transfer it if you have the permission.

Please list your Memory image.

To say it's not good, it's still that sentence ---- "poor compatibility", because running some software will cause a crash.

In addition, although qemm is a software package, the instruction document inside is simply not for people to read, too brief, not even a parameter list. So I still don't know how to disable the long memory self-test when qemm is loaded.

As for the memory usage, I can't list it for now, because my DOS machine is not around. Hehe.

Optimized further, removed BUFFERS 18,784 (18K)
Added /A parameter to column MEM

This is for QEMM9. Except for EMS, the effect is similar to the above QEMM8.
