It's based on the XP kernel and can be used on a CD. It's considered a complete system.

It can be less than 150M. You can go to Wuyou Boot to have a look. HLK94 has a WinPE slimmed down to more than 100MB. Detailed information (HLK94 is to modify WinPE to make ERD support Chinese).

Why simplify WinPE? It's unnecessary.
It's already a waste to burn 300MB worth of stuff on a CD. Still simplify? I even want to add more things. Otherwise, QQ and such can't run. Putting the control panel in can also adjust pixel and so on. Even CS can run (but can't adjust that display mode) It's uncomfortable without sound |

Another point is that the user logged in to winpe runs in the NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM context instead of the INTERACTIVE user context, which causes me to be unable to connect to other machines, like: net use \\ip\ipc$ "" /user:"administrator" is not connectable. Who knows how to log in to winpe as administrator, please inform. Thanks

I have increased my PE + ERD a lot, just added some software. Mainly some practical tools.
I'm not afraid of being large, as long as it doesn't exceed 870M, I'm okay. Because I use this to handle the system, safety and reliability come first. So I don't plan to make this smaller or simplify it.. I like the original flavor of things... |
