The following is a simple description of this mini 98:

1. Boot with GRUB, fast boot speed, can be used for CD-ROM, hard disk, USB flash drive, mobile hard disk
2. Integrate WinRAR, NTFS4DOS, FinalData, WinImage
3. No personal information is deliberately added, pure version (hope to carry forward the Muzi spirit)
4. Can be combined with EasyBoot to make custom maintenance CDs
5. The volume itself is only 19.6M, and it can start smoothly with 64M memory
6. Suitable for system maintenance and data backup with lower configuration



Note: The "Muzi" here refers to "Muzi" who once made Muzi QQ. The QQ he produced has no personal traces of the modifier.

Unlike many QQ modified versions prevailing on the Internet now, which add a lot of personal information of the modifier and are not very beautiful, I dislike them.

I hope there will be a large number of real experts with complete sharing spirit on the Internet. And don't leave traces like some tourists who leave "So-and-so was here" everywhere at scenic spots.

Excuse me, the landlord, how can I make GRUB not show the boot screen when it starts and directly boot WIN98?

I want to integrate it with other tools using EZBOOT or BCDW into a CD, as a function, just need to directly run WIN98, without that selection screen appearing, and press Enter to execute. I have tried removing other options (hard disk boot, restart) in the downloaded CD MENU.LST, leaving only the win98 option. After booting, the selection menu still appears and I need to press Enter to execute.

Just change "timeout 30" to "timeout 0" in menu.lst (open with Notepad) and it's done.

I downloaded it at the above address. No matter how you change it, I can still see that it is still the original one. You did make modifications, but is there not even a little meaning of thanks? At least indicate the original source and what modifications you made!

Originally, this thing was made a long time ago. Last time you posted the mini 98 post at http://www.cn-dos.net/forum/viewthread.php?tid=20478&fpage=4, I thought you were an enthusiast, and I uploaded the original one again!
As a result, some friends in the DOS Union felt very good after downloading and using it. They wanted the CD-ROM driver, so they modified it again, added some personal information, just to promote the forum. I didn't expect this friend to have such an opinion of me!

Limited by time and energy, and these modification methods have been expressed in the post you sent on Wuyou, so I won't say more here. They are all very simple modifications. (I'm a novice, and I believe what I can do, everyone must be able to do it: )
