Well, you just need to type reg delete /? or check Help and Support, and you can get enough help from that. (XP system)

If it's a 2000 system, you just need to copy reg.exe from XP or 2003 to the same location on 2000.

reg delete rootkey\subkey /f is enough. rootkey is the root key, subkey is the subkey, add a space and quotation marks.
