When I enter DOS, I can't find the files in the original system's C drive. The files in the C drive under DOS show the files from the original system's D drive. Is it that DOS doesn't recognize the original system's N format and can only recognize the F format? If so, how to handle it? How to convert? Now I can't perform operations like formatting and reinstalling the system originally installed in the C drive.

DOS originally has poor support for the N format.
To format, use tools like PQMagic. Booting with the Win2000/XP/2003 installation CD can also format an N - formatted partition.

Using PARAGON DISK MANAGER, its highlight is that it can convert N to F without loss. It is very difficult to convert N to F without loss with PQ and others.

In fact, GHOST can be used, and it is safe, reliable, and completed in an instant.

Actually, the XP installation disk (bootable) has the formatting option, which also saves a boot.
