Who has a Unicode dot matrix font library? - China DOS Union Forum

As the title, who has one to support

Need the Unicode character set ~~

I tried WenQuanYi before, it seems that the Unicode font only has BDF format. Now because of copyright issues, even the BDF Unicode is gone. And I don't know how to compile BDF files. Last time I messed around with fontforge for a long time and didn't get it done.

Is WenQuanYi not an open-source font?
Does WenQuanYi not have a pcf format?
If you don't like the bdf format, just use bdf2hex to convert it to the simplest hex format. Search for unifont.

WenQuanYi is an open-source font, but its Unicode font library is suspected of infringement and seems to have stopped providing downloads for a long time. As for Unicode fonts, when they were still downloadable before, there was only the BDF format. Its Song typeface library does have PDF and TTF formats. BDF2HAX? I'll give it a try~

Beidou is the encoding of 10646, which is UTF-8.

Well, currently most fonts use UCS encoding. The problem is that the character set of Beidou is not complete, not a complete Unicode character set. For example, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai and other characters are not available.

Why is there no Korean? I haven't looked at the others yet, but at least I've seen that there is Korean.

In addition to the CJK common Chinese characters, Korean has thousands of Kangul syllables. It seems that there are no Kangul syllables in the dot - matrix Song typeface of Beidou. Hehe

Brother hj is indeed meticulous in his work, heh heh. But most of the Korean characters are in U+Axxx/U+Bxxxx and U+Cxxx, as this Commet clearly states, only the CJK unified ideographs from U4E00 to U9FA5.

The Wenquan fonts are basically aimed at Chinese, and many languages and characters are either missing or incomplete.
