Recently, Microsoft has opened up WinPE 2004 and WinPE 2005. They are respectively WinPE based on XP SP2 and 2003 SP1. They contain Microsoft's WinPE custom - making tools mkimg.cmd and OPK tools. Everyone can freely download them from Microsoft.

I just downloaded the original ERD Commander 2005. I don't know how to replace it with the Simplified Chinese language pack of WinPE 2005 so that ERD Commander also supports Chinese display?

WinPE is Windows Preinstallation Environment. It is a micro operating system with Windows XP as the core, used to install the next-generation operating system of Windows, Vista. (Originally, MS-DOS was used for installation) It can create and format FAT, FAT32, NTFS partitions, can use network commands similar to net on XP, supports installation using image files, and has good support for mobile devices.

Addendum: Now many high-level people's XP or 2003 installation discs are also installed from WinPE.

Also, the installation of NT systems before Vista didn't use MS-DOS; instead, it used that blue character interface, which is the same system as the Recovery Console.
