The only reason is that there hasn't been any effective way to bring everyone together, so most people treat themselves as mere passers-by. They come when they have something to do, and otherwise they don't show up. Even though this is a technical forum, there should still be some necessary activities. After discussing it with wengier, we decided to take wengier's upcoming book as an opportunity to hold a boot disk selection and discussion, and choose the best ones to be included in the forthcoming book.
