China DOS Union

I used to have a DOS program that could automatically generate the BOOTCAT.BIN and BOOTIMG.BIN files needed for a bootable CD, then under DOS use MAKEISO to make it into an ISO file and burn it to a CD with FILE2CD, and that would make a bootable CD. Unfortunately, no matter how hard I look now I just can't find that software, and I've also forgotten its name. Does anyone have this software? Thanks for letting me know.

diskemu is quite good, and of course those few commands won't be difficult for you. And it can achieve very high-resolution graphics display.
I generally use 800×600 24-bit to make the boot menu. As long as you spend time on the artwork, the interface can be as beautiful as you want. Compatibility is very good. You can also use text mode, though of course it's comparatively plainer. If you want to display Chinese in text mode, no problem, you can load Simplified and Traditional Chinese fonts, it just doesn't support GBK yet.
bootsript is also very powerful, but its compatibility is a bit worse. Its graphical boot method is not supported on some motherboards!

I'm not nostalgic! I basically don't use old software at all, only new DOS software. For example, that CD burning software under DOS was only released not long ago.

DISKEMU's compatibility isn't very good either.

What's bad about BS???
Besides, now it's time to play with CDS. I'm using this, and I still haven't found any problems.
CDS is currently the most powerful tool in my opinion......

I don't think this is the place to discuss bootable CDs....
So I won't say any more~

But bootable DOS CDs are discussed here too (DOS boot disks include DOS bootable CDs!).
