China DOS Union

I'd like to ask, for graphical-interface DOS software similar to Paragon partition manager 7.0 for dos, how do you Chinese-localize it? If I directly change the English in the exe file to Chinese, it shows garbled text. In 6.0, directly changing the English to Chinese worked. I hope the experts can give me some guidance.

Because Chinese characters are double-byte code, if garbled text appears after Chinese localization, that means the program is already filtering out the high-order bytes of Chinese characters. You need to ask an expert to find the code in the program that filters the high-order bytes, and bypass that code, then Chinese display can be achieved. Also, you definitely need to start a Chinese character support system that writes directly to the screen.

This software (it affects the MBR, so I wouldn't use it on my own hard drive) is still better used in English under DOS. To tell the truth, if it wasn't Chinese-localized by someone I trust very much, I wouldn't be willing to try it either.
