I am a big newbie, I know nothing. Please forgive me.
Ask: When I downloaded grubdisk (release 2006-3-08), then started grubdisk.exe, and wrote the file into the floppy disk. Then how should I use this floppy disk to repair the second computer with problems? (That is, how should I use grubdisk?) : I am using win xp sp2, my system has problems, it is infected with a virus, and I can't enter windows And I want to copy a few important files of drive c to drive e under dos>>> But I can't use the super ms-dos of grubdisk. What steps did I miss? Or how should I do it to be able to use super ms-dos? 1. Super MS-DOS 7.10 Copyright (c) 2005-2008 Guoxiang.Pu 2. Dynamic Drive Overlay (DDO) V9.57 3. Boot from 1st Hard Disk 4. Boot from 2nd Hard Disk (DOS/Win9x only) 5. Boot from Floppy 6. Boot from CD-ROM 7. Reboot MS-DOS 7.10 start menu: 1, Clean Boot 2, Boot with CD-ROM support 3, Boot with CD-ROM and SCSI /USB support for external HDD 4, Boot with SCSI /USB support for external HDD and CD-ROM 5, Boot with CD-ROM and IEEE1394 support for external HDD 6, Boot with IEEE1394 support for external HDD and CD-ROM 7, Boot with PCMCIA CD-ROM support 8, Boot with NTFS File System Full Access support I selected 1, then selected 8 (because my drives d, e are all ntfs), but then it stopped, not entering super ms-dos 7.10 at all, no chance for me to type commands. Also, I don't know how to type dos commands, how can I use Volkov Commander? My boot hard disk partition (drive c) of win xp has lost ntdetect.com, boot.ini, ntldr. How should I use grubdisk to repair it? I asked someone, he said to type SYS :, may I ask can you explain in detail what to do? I am using the second computer (win xp), made a piece of ms-dos boot disk (in my computer, 3.5 disk A, press format, then check "make a MS-SOD boot disk"), but I use it to boot, want to COPY the files of the optical drive to DRIVE C under dos, but can't. And typing the command DIR I: (I is the optical drive path) also says DRIVE PATH NOT CORRECT. I want to ask if this boot disk can't call the optical drive? Or did I do something wrong? In addition, I want to ask everyone what is "USB flash drive"? Thank you very much for the answer~~ [ Last edited by chiwing on 2006-4-14 at 14:33 ] |

=========================
I'm using Windows XP SP2. There's a problem with my system. It's infected with a virus and I can't log into Windows. And I want to copy several important files from drive C to drive E under DOS>>> ========================= No need to be so troublesome. Download a version of Huizhuan Qidong 1.2 from the internet, burn it onto a CD, then boot from the CD at startup. After booting, select to boot into PE. Once PE is booted, it's very convenient to copy and paste files. [ Last edited by weilong888 on 2006-4-14 at 13:55 ] |

Fix it like this. First, find a DOS antivirus software like kv2005, and kill the viruses first. Then reinstall XP. I think after the system crashes, it can't be solved by copying a few files.
