if errorlevel 5
means “if it is greater than or equal to 5”; if not errorlevel 6 means “if it is less than 6”; Then if errorlevel 5 and if not errorlevel 6 means “equal to 5” That understanding isn’t wrong, right! But is a form like “if errorlevel 5 and if not errorlevel 6” correct? Does DOS recognize syntax like this? Could an expert please point it out! Actually, you’ve already more or less found the right answer; you just need to remove the and.
