I want to use a batch file to delete a directory on another machine in the LAN, and delete it directly without a confirmation prompt. How should I write it? Please give me an example. Also, how should I write it if I want to delete files?

I think it should be no different from deleting directories and files on your local machine, as long as you have sufficient permissions.

I don't know whether the OP's LAN is a Netware system. If it is, you can add the corresponding commands in the server-side login script to accomplish it.

For a Windows-based LAN, it's even simpler: use remote administration software to do it.

this form to delete the dir1 directory folder on machine 21, and delete it directly without prompts, but I don't know why it hasn't been working lately. Did I mess something up somewhere? Please advise, experts.

That depends on whether the default administrative shared directory D$ exists. If it does exist, you also have to see whether you have administrator privileges and can access that administrative share. Even if you can access it, if the other side is using an NTFS partition, you still have to see whether your account has permission to delete that directory.

It's not clear whether the LAN is using a domain-based network. If it is, then when the client machines log into the domain server, just set it to automatically execute a batch file to carry out the deletion operation.
