It does need to be checked and adjusted.

Re DOSforever:

This problem has existed for a long time. After the forum server was moved in early August last year, the forum time was 10 minutes fast. It seems now it’s already 12 minutes fast.

Actually the forum clock has already been calibrated twice, but the problem reappeared not long after each calibration. I guess there is something wrong with the server clock function itself.

You can download an atomic clock synchronization program Atomic Clock Sync, set it to start with the system, and sync automatically every day. That way the server can keep an accurate clock at all times.

I’m afraid not. This server isn’t our own, so we can’t just install things on it casually.

Hehehehe……
Isn’t the forum hosted on Xiaoliang’s server? If Xiaoliang maintains it, wouldn’t that be local maintenance? Then how was the clock adjusted the previous few times?

That was before. It’s different now; it isn’t hosted on Xiaoliang’s server, so it isn’t maintained locally. The previous two times autoit used some function provided by the server to adjust the clock, but obviously it wouldn’t be possible to install an atomic clock synchronization program on the server system and have it start with the machine.

Can a background task be set up and loaded to periodically calibrate the clock?

Why is the forum server clock now nearly 12 hours fast?!

I tested it here too, and it really is 12 hours fast!
A bit strange—the time is correct for where the webmaster is! Could it be that the webmaster moved the forum abroad?

The problem on my side is the same as in 'reply #14'. I was just about to make a post to report it, and then I found there was already a thread discussing it. The strange thing is that this problem has been discussed for almost half a year now, yet there seems to have been no action at all. Really strange.
