Take a look at this tool of mine!
sfdisk
I think it's pretty good.
Size: 106.037
It supports quite a lot of partition types!
I put it on my website, take a look!

This tool has been around for a long time already. Lower versions (the ones that can run under WIN) have problems when partitioning large hard disks (over 20G). The symptom is just like what IMP said. Several inaccessible drive letters appear in My Computer for no reason.

Now that there's a new version, why still use the old version?

Among Chinese partitioning software, in terms of powerful features it is not as user-friendly as diskgen, and for boot management it is not as good as spfdisk.

I feel that diskgen is only really very powerful when it comes to restoring partition tables; in other respects it isn't as capable as spfdisk.
Maybe that's also because I'm used to using spfdisk.

spfdisk is definitely very good software. I once corresponded with the author, and he said this software is still under development at the moment.

I've heard its support for large hard disks isn't very good either.

I saw everyone here discussing partitioning tools, and I also want to offer a tiny bit of my own opinion. I've also used the tools mentioned by the experts above, and what they said all makes sense. DISKMAN really is a very useful partition table maintenance tool, and SPFDISK is also a very useful hard disk scanning tool (that's how I often use it). Here I want to introduce a partitioning tool, but the problem is that I've never been able to find it on any major websites. I only came across it by chance once, bundled on a pirated WINDOWS disc on the market, the kind of all-in-one disc. The name is probably SMART BOOT MANNGER, though I don't know whether I got the name wrong. This tool gives me the feeling that partitioning is very fast and straightforward. With hard disks getting bigger and bigger nowadays, traditional FDISK already feels too slow. I've heard DM is a very fast, high-speed partitioning tool. I've also seen others use it quite a lot, and it really is fast, but unfortunately I really don't know how to use it. I wonder if one of the experts here could give some detailed guidance? The common DM version now should be version DM956, right? First of all, my thanks to all the experts here.

It should be easy to find instructions for using DM online, right?

I've used DM too, it's very easy to use. Partitioning an 80G hard disk can be done in about 1 minute, and at the same time it can also format the partitions. It works very well. I don't really know whether there is a higher version of DM, but it's also very convenient to use.
The command is DM /M and that's enough. Find a Chinese version, it's very easy to use. You can download one from Software Treasure Basin, that's where I downloaded mine!!!
