There are general drivers for AC97 in Windows, but I'm not sure about DOS...

via和sis的都能找到，但intel和realtek的始终都没有，所以通用的就更没有了

...But...maybe...the driver for the intel chip...can be used...someone who has via wants to try it...!
Alas....is there really no way for realtek...! This morning I helped a friend reinstall win98.. I started from dos....dos was just installed...install the sound card driver...ess1868...irq7...dma1..<--intuitive setting....reboot....then started listening to CD while installing 98....in less than ten minutes...I was listening to music under dos....look at others..and look at my own..realtek...oh my god......I want the dos version of the driver....
Crying in tears looking at realtek....

I have two machines, and I've always used independent PCI sound cards. One is a Creative Live 4.1, and the other is a CMI 8738. Both sound cards can be driven under DOS and produce sound.

The CMI 8738 has DOS drivers, but unfortunately, there are too many bugs in its DOS drivers. As a result, I tried buying it last time and then returned it. These two days I bought SB Live! again. After some arrangement, its DOS drivers finally basically have no problems when listening to music and playing games under DOS.
