I'm using a Netac 512M USB flash drive. I used the bundled FORMAT tool to format it into USB-HDD mode, and it booted successfully. The booted system should be Win98 DOS, but when I run PQ 8.05 For DOS on the USB drive, PQ says it can't find the hard disk. I have 2 system hard disks, one is 30G and the other is 120G. The 30G partition is FAT32, and the 120G hard disk has one FAT32 partition and one NTFS partition. Why can't it run under DOS? Dizzy.

Most likely your motherboard BIOS has a bug in how it handles drive letter swapping when booting from USB. So I suggest you don't use USB to boot DOS. Because of a BIOS bug, it may fail to find the hard disk. Instead, boot DOS from a floppy disk or hard disk, then run pqmagic. That should be fine.

You should use the FORMAT tool to format it into USB-ZIP or USB-FDD mode and boot from that.

Use Usboot to make it into Usb_zip format, then try again.
