TW 3.2 was displaying well on my original machine, but it didn't work on the new machine. There was a flashing white strip about 2 cm wide at the top of the screen.

It was found to be an issue with EMM386. After disabling EMM386, the problem was solved!
But the available memory was also greatly reduced, and I was not willing.
After repeated tests, it was found that adding the /N3 parameter when loading TW could solve the problem.
That is:
TW /N3
This parameter can not load the 80386 video mapping function.

By the way, my motherboard is ASUS K8N, NF3 250 chipset.

I always feel that the newer the motherboard, the worse the support for DOS.

I also have this feeling. My motherboard is not very new either (maybe the graphics card is relatively new). But the ccdos97 that has always been compatible well sometimes has a black screen, and I haven't found the reason yet. Depressed.

Mine is also like this. On the 845 motherboard, Tw3.2 cannot be used under pure DOS. I don't know why?
