China DOS Union

MenuetOS is an amateur operating system developed for x86 (IBM-compatible) computers. It is a mini operating system written entirely in assembly language (32-bit), so it is smaller, faster, and the system itself occupies very few system resources for applications.

Very cool.

It seems like the virtual machine can't be installed. It always reaches "All set - press ESC to start" and then "Unmasking all IRQs" appears. So depressed...

Depressed...

Tried it on Virtual PC before, indeed it doesn't work, but on a real computer, it can be successfully booted with a floppy disk.

Can be virtualized with QEMU:
