Lately I often see reports on TV about SARS deaths and infection cases in China. Is the SARS situation in China really that serious??

Here in the Toronto area of Canada, we also have some cases. Although it's nowhere near as serious as Hong Kong, it's still enough to greatly reduce business at Chinese shops, and some schools have been temporarily closed.

Sigh!! The situation in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, has gotten even more serious. There was actually news of a hospital cluster infection. Looks like I'll have to wear a mask when I go out from now on!!

There have been a few cases here in Wuhan these past few days, and it's made everyone jumpy and anxious.
